Journal Entry — Before Dawn

4:17 AM

The night had already stretched longer than sleep would allow.

Silence filled the room…

My mind refused to settle.

Thoughts drifted in slow circles…

It was during these hours that the images began to arrive.

Not through careful design…

And then the faces would appear.

By morning, I often had little memory…

These images are the remnants of those hours.

Proof that even when sleep refused me,

the night was still willing to offer something in return.
